Course Session Attendance Report in PICSWeb

The Course Sessions Report produces a list of Attendance Values for Course Sessions taking place within a specified date range.

This report is intended to be used with the spreadsheet output. The Course Session Attendance Summary report is designed to be used as an Interactive Report and can be used to analyse your attendance data against many different criteria.

Report Options

The following customisation options are available:

  • Attendance – Here you can choose whether to include only Recorded Attendance values or both Expected and Recorded Attendance values.

  • Sessions From and To – Here you can specify the date range that will determine which sessions will have their attendance included in the report. You can either choose a Fixed Date and choose the relevant dates from the calendar date selector, or choose one of the relative values such as TodayStart of WeekStart of Month or others. If you choose a relative value, it is possible to add a positive or negative Offset value, which will adjust the date by the specified number of weeks. For example, choosing End of Week with a +1 Weeks Offset value will run the report from the end of the next week.

  • Attendance Type – Here you can restrict the report to specific attendance types. You can add multiple types to the field and remove any added ones by selecting the X icon.

  • Tutor – Here you can restrict the report to attendance for sessions run by a specific tutor Officer.

  • Course Type – Here you can restrict the report to attendance for sessions of a specific Course Type.

  • Course Tags – Here you can restrict the report to attendance for Courses with specific Tags. Choosing a tag from the drop-down menu will add it to the field. You can add multiple tags to the field and remove any added ones by selecting the X icon. The following tag options are available:

    • Any – This will restrict the report to courses that have at least one of the specified tags.

    • All – This will restrict the report to courses that have every specified tag.

    • None – This will restrict the report to courses that do not have any of the specified tags.

  • Enrolment Type – Here you can restrict the report to attendance for sessions with either Fixed Start Date or Roll-on Roll-off enrolments.

  • Sites – Here you can restrict the report to attendance for sessions for courses linked to specific Sites. You can add multiple sites to the field and remove any added ones by selecting the X icon.

  • Course Status – Here you can restrict the report to attendance for sessions from Live or Dormant courses.

Report Output

The course session attendance report consists of a single sheet listing all matching attendance values by attendee.. Along with the relevant attendee and session details, any Optional Fields chosen when building the report will be included as additional columns.
