Reports in PICSWeb can be saved to make them easier to rerun without having to build again.
If you are planning on running a report regularly, it can also be Scheduled to run at a specified frequency.
Saving your own reports
To save a report you have built yourself, go to the Save and Schedule tab and select Save. This will save the options you have set and add the custom report to the Saved Reports tab. For this to work, you will need to have specified the From and To dates and entered a Custom Title. If you have specified a schedule for the report, it will be start to run according to the schedule once you have saved.
Saving shared reports
It is also possible to save a copy of a report that has been shared with you. The way to do this depends on whether you have run the saved report before:
If you have run the report before, find the shared report in the Available Reports tab and select … > Load Options.
If you have not run the report before, find the shared report in the Saved Reports tab and select … > Load Options.
From here, you can go to the Save and Schedule tab, enter a different Custom Title and select Save as explained above. Your own copy of the report will then be available to edit and run in the Saved Reports tab.
