Target Scan Summary in PICSWeb
Selecting … > Summary by a scan in the Target Scans tab will open the corresponding target scan summary. This shows additional details for the scan including any answers that have been recorded.
Learner Details
The following details for the learner are shown at the left-hand side of the page:
Display Picture – Selecting this will open your file browser, where you can search for a new picture if necessary.
Full Name
Email Address – Selecting this will open a new email to the learner in your web email server.
Risk Band – This indicates the level of risk associated with the learner, ranging from green (low-risk) to yellow (medium-risk) and red (high-risk). A grey dot means that no risk level has been set.
Workflow – If the learner has been attached to a Workflow, the current status will be shown here. You can select this to change the status. If no workflow has been added, a button to Select Workflow will be shown.
Tags – Any Tags that have been added to the learner will be shown here. You can select the X within a tag to remove it, or select the + icon to add new tags.
Overall Qualification Progress – This bar shows the proportion of the learner’s Qualifications that are In Progress or Complete.
Target/Skill Scan Competency – This bar shows the proportion of completion for all of the learner’s Scope Items according to the most recent target scan.
Target Scan Details
The following details for the scan are shown underneath the learner details:

Complete – This indicates whether the Learner, Assessor or Employer has Completed the Scan, depending on who was named to complete the scan when it was created.
Viewing Answers
The Answers tab shows the answers recorded for the scan. If no answers have been recorded yet, a button will be available to Add Answers. Selecting thing will open a window where you can Complete the Target Scan.
Once answers have been recorded, each person’s answers will be shown with their name above. Two views are available for each set of answers.
Chart View
The Charts tab displays three diagrams for Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours, with each corner on the diagram representing a different scope item. Hovering over each corner will show the exact stage reached for each item.
Answer View
The Answers tab displays a list of scope items, divided into Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours, with the following details shown for each item:
Code
Title
Stage
Notes – These are recorded when Completing the Scan.
Competency – This bar shows the percentage competency represented by the stage reached.
Editing Answers
This function should only be used if you have entered incorrect answers the first time that the scan was completed. To record new progress, you should instead Add a New Target Scan and complete that.
If you are viewing the most recent target scan for the learner, a button to Edit Answers will be available. Selecting this will open a window where you can Complete the Target Scan again to correct any mistakes.
