Creating a New Learner Review in PICSWeb

You can use Review Profiles in PICSWeb List and Type Configuration to automatically apply a custom schedule of reviews to new learners according to their Programme.

Learner reviews can be added from either the Reviews tab or Calendar tab in the Learner Delivery Plan. To add a review from the reviews tab, select Create Review from above the list. This will open the Create Review window, as explained below.

To add a review from the calendar, select the day that you want to use as the Due Date from the calendar. Make sure that you select the empty space in the day rather than the date number or any other appointment icons in the day.

This will open a window where you can choose whether to Add an Appointment or add a review for the learner. Select Create Review to continue.

These actions will open the Create Review window shown below. In this window, you can specify the following review details:

  • Type

  • Proposed Date and Time – Selecting the date field will open a calendar date selector.

  • Reviewer – This is the staff member responsible for the review. This field contains a drop-down menu of Officers to link. A search bar is available at the top of the menu.

  • Mentor – This is the staff member linked as the learner's mentor. This field contains a drop-down menu of Officers to link. A search bar is available at the top of the menu.

Once you have entered the necessary details, the following options are available:

  • Save – This will save the appointment and take you to the Edit Review window, where you can enter further details.

  • Save > Save and View Summary – This will save the review and take you to the Review Summary.

  • Save > Save and Close – This will save the review and return you to either the reviews or calendar page.
