Editing User Defined Forms in PICSWeb Configuration

Editing User Defined Forms in PICSWeb Configuration

This page covers editing certain details about the form, rather than the fields that make it up.

Editing fields for the form is done in the User Defined Form Builder. Completing individual UDF instances is explained in Editing User Defined Form Values.

Selecting Actions > Edit from the User Defined Form Summary, or selecting … > Edit by a form in the User Defined Form List, will open a window where you can edit the following details for the user defined form:

  • Title

  • Description

  • Status – Here you can control whether the form is Live, Retired or Dormant. Only Live forms can be completed.

  • Form For – Here you can choose which types of record will have the form available. The exact locations for the form are managed in the Locations and Visibility Restrictions tab in the User Defined Form Summary.

Once you have made your changes, select Save to confirm them or Cancel to discard them.
