User Defined Form List in PICSWeb

Selecting Forms > User Defined Forms from the Configuration section of the side menu will open the User Defined Form List page. This page displays a list of custom forms set up by users.

The user defined form list displays any forms that match the filters set above the list. For each form, the following details are shown:

  • ID Code

  • Title

  • Locations in PICWeb – This lists all the areas of PICSWeb records where the custom form fields will be available to view and edit.

  • Status – This indicates whether the form is Live or Retired. Only Live forms will appear in the specified locations.

Filtering the List

The following searching and filtering options are available by default above the list. Once you have entered the necessary details, press Enter or select the Search icon to run the search and apply your filters.

  • Search – Here you can search by form Title and ID code.

  • Number of records – Here you can use the drop-down menu to choose how many results are displayed per page.

Along with these, additional fields can be added by selecting More. Choosing a field will add it to the top bar, where it works like the filters explained above. The following fields are available:

  • Status

  • Form For

  • Question Title

  • Question Unique Field Name

Exporting the List

Selecting More shows an option to Export to Excel. Selecting this will generate an Excel Spreadsheet containing the details currently displayed in the list.

User Defined Form Actions

Selecting Create from the top-right corner of the page will open a window where you can Create a New User Defined Form.

The following options are available for individual forms by selecting the ... icon by a form in the list:

  • Summary – This will open the corresponding User Defined Form Summary.

  • Edit – This will open the Edit Window for the form.

  • Delete – You will be prompted to confirm before the form is deleted. Bear in mind that you can also change the form’s status to Retired rather than delete it permanently.
