Officer Roles in PICSWeb

The Roles linked to an officer record indicate the position of the employee that the officer represents and how the record will be used in your database. Multiple roles can be attached to an officer as appropriate. The following roles are available:

  • Assessment

  • Careers Adviser

  • Change Request Authoriser

  • External Verifier

  • Internal Verifier

  • Examiner

  • Mentor

  • Contacts – These officers represent contacts at external organisations. You can set up Contact Logins for officers with this role.

  • Placement Adviser

  • Course Organiser – These officers can be set as the Organiser of a Course Type or the Leader of a Course.

  • System User

  • Training Adviser

  • Course Tutor – These officers can be set as the Tutor of a Course Session.

  • Recruitment

  • Main Adviser
