Sending an SMS Message to an Officer in PICSWeb

This feature is only available if you have enabled the PICSWeb SMS Integration.

The SMS icon underneath an officer’s display icon in the Officer Summary is used to send a text message from PICSWeb to the officer.

This will only work if a Mobile Number has been recorded when Editing the Officer and you have sufficient Twilio credits.

Selecting this icon will open a window where you can view the Name and Number of the recipient and enter your Message.

Select Send to send the text message. The From name in the text will depend on the value entered in the SMS Integration Summary. If you have enabled the option in SMS Integration Settings, a record of the message will be logged in the officer’s Communications tab.
