Editing Vacancies in PICSWeb

Either selecting Actions > Edit from a Vacancy Summary page or selecting ... > Edit by a vacancy in the Vacancy List will open a window where you can edit certain fields not available to edit in the summary tabs.

Find Field search bar is available at the top-right to search for a field. As you enter text, the list of fields will update automatically. Once you have finished, select Save to apply the changes and return to the previous page, or Cancel to exit without saving. The following fields are available to edit:

  • Title

  • Vacancy Type – Custom types can be set up in the Vacancy Types section of List and Type Configuration

  • Wages Type – Here you can specify what type of wage will be paid.

  • Wage – If you have chosen a Custom Wage, here you can enter the custom wage amount.

  • Wage Additional Information

  • Bonus – Here you can specify the minimum and maximum bonus as per the value entered in the Bonus Type field.

  • Bonus Type – Here you can specify what the values entered above refer to.

  • Bonus Comment

  • Postcode

  • Hours per Week – Here you can specify the minimum and maximum hours worked per week.

  • Overtime Available

  • Advert URL

  • Status – As well as the default inbuilt statuses, custom statuses can be set up in the Vacancy Statuses section of List and Type Configuration.

  • Status Changed date – Selecting this field will open a calendar date selector.

  • Places Advertised

  • Places Filled

  • Opens date – Selecting this field will open a calendar date selector.

  • Closes date – Selecting this field will open a calendar date selector.

  • Interview Start date – Selecting this field will open a calendar date selector.

  • Expected Start date – Selecting this field will open a calendar date selector.

  • Employer – Here you can use the drop-down menu to search for an Organisation to link as the employer that posted the vacancy.

  • Contact – Here you can use the drop-down menu to search for an Officer to link as the external contact associated with the vacancy.

  • Officer – Here you can use the drop-down menu to search for an Officer to link as the internal staff member associated with the vacancy.

  • Job Board – Here you can use the drop-down menu to search for an Organisation to link as the associated job board.

  • Opportunity – Here you can use the drop-down menu to search for the business Opportunity linked to the vacancy.

Any user-defined fields for vacancies will also be shown here.
