RAA Candidates with Applications Import Specification in PICSWeb

Due to changes in the RAA reports, the RAA import in PICSWeb only accepts the report from the version of RAA web site that the Apprenticeship Service released in April 2022. The older RAA web site is being deprecated by the AS.

For this import to work, you will first need to activate the PICSWeb Recruit an Apprentice (RAA) Integration.

Unlike the other import specifications in this section, you do not need to build your own spreadsheet to import into PICSWeb, as this import uses the output file from the RAA report.

The report contains details about the Candidate, Employer, and Vacancy. These are imported into PICS as Applicants, Organisations and Vacancies with a Vacancy Application record linked.

The import attempts to prevent multiple imports of the same file from creating duplicates. The tables below show which fields for each record type are used to look for matching records.
