User Defined Fields in PICSWeb Imports

User Defined Fields in PICSWeb Imports

Importing data into User Defined Fields is available for the main import types. The specification page will indicate if it is supported for a given import type.

To specify a field can be imported it must first be assigned a Unique Field Name within its User Defined Form, which you can add by Editing the UDF.

For example, the two screenshots below show two user defined fields. The first is a string field with the unique field name set to THENOTE.

The second is a date field with the unique field name set to THEDATE.

Once this has been done, you will be able to include columns in your import data in the format below.
