PICS Integration with iFATE Standards Database

As part of the RPL Functionality we’re offering customers new integration with IFATE Standard Database,
This integration allows users to pull in Standards Knowledge, Skills & Behaviours when creating Delivery Targets.
To begin, access Targets from the Delivery Menu.
With this done, within the Target page, click the Create button.
You’ll then be present with the create window, where you’ll be able to select the various types of targets.
Currently, PICS RPL Tool is only set up to function with Apprenticeship Standards. Therefore select Apprenticeship Standard to proceed.
With the option selected, we can proceed by clicking the Next button.
The next panel will ask us to name the Target and also, link the Target with the relevant Apprenticeship Standard. Give the Target a title by entering this into the title text box provided and use the Apprenticeship Standard drop down box to link the target to the relevant standard.
With this done, click Save to save your target.
Within the Target Summary click the Actions button, from here you’ll have the option to bring in Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours from the linked standard directly from iFATE, by clicking the titled button shown below:
Clicking this button will display a pop out window for the integration. Any Pathways or Alternative Versions of the Apprenticeship Standard will display, along with the option to import the Pathway / Version of your choice.
Note: For each Standard Version or Pathway will require it’s own Target.
When Standards are updated, the integration with iFATE Will Not Automatically populate existing Targets with new Knowledge Skills & Behaviours
Clicking Import this Standard will being the process of importing the linked Knowledge, Skills & Behaviours.
