Cloning Qualification Plans in PICSWeb

Rather than creating each new Qualification Plan from scratch, it is possible to clone an existing plan and edit that to create a similar plan with a few minor changes. This can be done, for example, if you need to create plans for both Levy or non-Levy versions of the same Apprenticeship Standard.

To clone a qualification plan, open the Qualification Plan Summary and select Actions > Clone from the top-right corner of the page.

This will open a window where you can enter the Code and Title for the new plan. The Source Plan code and title are also shown, allowing you to copy and paste the old plan’s title to amend in the new title field.

Once you have finished, the following options are available:

• Save – This will save the new plan and take you to the Qualification Plan Edit Window for the old plan.

• Save > Save and View Summary – This will save the new plan and take you to the Qualification Plan Edit Window for the new plan.

• Save > Save and Close – This will save the new plan and return you to the Qualification Plan Summary for the old plan.
