Applications in the Skills Hosting Portal

The Home page in the Hosting Portal contains the Your Applications list. This shows PICS and any other applications you have purchased from Pellcomp.

Two types of application are available in this page:

  • Desktop – Selecting Open for these applications will download a .RDP application file. Opening this file will open the relevant application on your device, which you can then login to and use as normal. Any files used for and generated by these applications will be available in the Files page of the Hosting Portal.
  • Web – Selecting Open for these applications will open the login page of the web app in a new tab in your browser. Any files used with these applications will be stored in the web app, so you will not have to use the files page.
