Profile in the PICSWeb Portfolio for Learners
This guidance is for learners using PICSWeb Portfolio. As this system can be customised by your training provider, you may not have access to all of the areas described in this help. Please ask your training provider if you are experiencing any issues with the system.
Selecting your name from the top-right corner of the page will open the User Profile section. This section shows your display picture, name and email address. A button is also available here to Sign Out.
Selecting My Profile in this section will open your full profile, where you can adjust certain settings for your account.
The following settings are available:
Change Password
Selecting Change Password will open a page where you can set a new password for your PICSWeb login. To this, first enter your Current Password then choose and confirm your New Password. The new password must meet the requirements explained on the page.
Select Update Password to finish.
Two Factor Authentication
Selecting Two Factor Authentication will open a page where you can configure an authenticator application to use for two-factor authentication when you log in to PICSWeb. If you have not yet set up an application, a button will be available to Setup Authenticator Application.
Selecting this will open a window with a custom QR code and instructions on linking your PICSWeb account to your chosen authenticator application.
Once you have entered the Verification Code and selected Verify, your application will be used for two-factor authentication when you log in.
To disable two-factor authentication, select Reset Authenticator Application from the Two Factor Authentication page. You will need to go through the setup process again before two-factor authentication will resume.
Preferences
Selecting Preferences will open a window where you can choose whether or not to Enable High Contrast Display. This display is intended to make PICSWeb more legible for accessibility purposes.
Once you have made your choice, select Save to confirm it.
