Report Field Changes Log

This document includes all changes to report fields. This will include:

  • Removed Fields

  • Fields that have been renamed

  • Moved Fields

Although we would never like to move fields, it is some times a requirement for us to do it. For this reason, we recommend that if you are building tools to make use of PICS reports, you do not rely on column numbers directly. Whenever possible, you should write your tool in such a way that it first scans row 1 looking for the column header you desire and then use this as the column number.

Learner File Report

  • New field added before File Description: File Title

  • File Description was being populated with the File Title value. Now fixed.

Apprenticeship Accountability Report

  • The following additional columns will always be included after column “Blank End-point Assessment Organisation 3-6 months before aim planned end date”:

    • Minimum OTJ Hours Required

    • Minimum OTJ Hours Requirement Not Met (Planned or Actual)

    • Minimum Planned OTJ Hours Requirement Not Met

    • Minimum Actual OTJ Hours Requirement Not Met

Employability Components Report

  • The Component Done field is now always included and may have changed order in reports.

12th August 2023

All Learner Reports

  • The Contract column was incorrectly spelt “Contact”. This has been corrected and is now spelt “Contract”.

ILR Aim Report

  • Export In based fields are moving forward 1 year, 2022 > 2023 and 2021 > 2022. There is no need to reselect these columns, but the headings in the output will be changed.

ILR Destination and Progression Report:

  • Outcome Export In 2022 has been updated to Outcome Export in 2023. There is no need to reselect this column, but the heading in the output will be changed.

ILR Learner Report

  • Planned learning ours for each year have been updated. 2021 fields have been removed, and 2024 fields have been added.

ILR HE Aims Report

  • The following fields have been removed: Aim HE Percentage Taught in First LDCS Subject, Aim HE Percentage Taught in Second LDCS Subject, Aim HE Percentage Taught in Third LDCS Subject.

Applicant & Learner Functional Skills Assessments Reports

  • The Stage column is being removed as part of restructuring how we hold Skills Assessments data in PICS.

Contracts Report

  • Consortium field has been removed.

Employability Learners

  • The JobCentre output field is now full organisation output not just the name.

Vacancy Reports

  • The dedicated Employer Website URL output has been removed from all vacancy reports. The field may still be retrieved using the Website field within the Employer section.

Learner Jobs Report

  • The SOC column will now contain only SOC 2020 codes. Older SOC 2000 codes can now be output using the SOC (2000) column.

Projected Funding

  • The Projected Funding By Learners Report has 2 fields called “Learner Funding Age Band“ one of these has been removed. This may alter the output of your saved reports.

15th April 2023

Form Report

  • Field NAME moved to end of the table and replaced with FORM TEMPLATE.

Learner Report

  • Field CONSORTIUM has been removed.

Task Report

  • Field REGARDING is now longer a simple name field and instead provides the ability to select multiple fields about the regarding role.

  • Field DONE BY is now longer a simple name field and instead provides the ability to select multiple fields about the regarding role.
