As well as manually creating an opportunity, it is possible to set up a Sign Up Form that will automatically create a new opportunity once it has been submitted. This process is explained in Sign Up Forms and Opportunities.

Selecting Create in the Opportunity List will open a window where you can create a new opportunity. In this window, you can enter the following details for the new opportunity:
Title
Class – Here you can indicate whether the new record represents an opportunity for an Applicant, Apprenticeship Training, a Vacancy or Generic Training.
After this, the following options are available:
Save – This will save the opportunity and take you to a window where you can add further details. This window is explained in Editing Opportunities in PICSWeb.
Save > Save and View Summary – This will save the opportunity and take you to the Opportunity Summary page.
Save > Save and Close – This will save the opportunity and return you to the Opportunity List.
Cancel – This will discard the opportunity without saving.
