It is possible to manage 2FA for all PICS users from the User List, rather than have users manage it individually from their User Profiles.

Enforcing 2FA for All Users

Before switching this on, we recommend that your existing users already have 2FA set up, otherwise they will be unable to access the system if they have any difficulties setting up the authenticator app.

In the user list, a banner at the top of the list will inform you if 2FA has not yet been enforced for all users. The 2FA column in the list also shows whether individual users have set 2FA up or not.

To enforce 2FA for all users, select Enforce Two Factor Authentication from the banner. This will open a window explaining how enforced 2FA works.

If you are sure that you want to enforce 2FA, switch on Enforce Two Factor Authentication and select Save. You will then be logged off. All users will now need to set up 2FA before they can log in to PICSWeb.

Resetting 2FA for an Individual User

If a user has become locked out of their PICSWeb account due to 2FA, you can manually reset their 2FA from their User Summary.

To do this, go to the User Details section and select the Reset icon by Two Factor Authentication.

This will open a window explaining how the reset process works. To reset the user’s 2FA, switch on Reset Two Factor Authentication and select Save.

The next time the user logs in, they will be able to set up a new 2FA system.
