This feature is only available if you have enabled the PICSWeb SMS Integration.
The SMS icon underneath a learner’s display icon in the Learner Record is used to send a text message from PICSWeb to the learner. This icon will only be displayed if a Mobile Number has been recorded when Editing the Learner.
Selecting this icon will open a window where you can view the Name and Number of the recipient and enter your Message.
Select Send to send the text message.
The message will not be sent if you do not have sufficient Twilio credits.
The From name in the text will depend on the value entered in the SMS Integration Summary. If you have enabled the option in SMS Integration Settings, a record of the message will be logged in the learner’s Communications tab.
