If you have identified an error in a WebForm Template after an Instance has been created, it is possible to clone the instance to a new version that will use an updated form template while retaining all the data already entered.

This process is available for forms with the following Status:

  • Live

  • Rejected

  • Admin Deleted

  • User Deleted

  • Completed

Before cloning the form, you will need to create an updated version of the WebForm Template to fix the error identified. This action is explained in the WebForm Builder page.

To clone a form to new, either select … > Clone to New by the form in the WebForm List or select the Clone to New button in the WebForm Summary.

This will open a window displaying the Title and Owner of the form and explaining the cloning process. Select Clone to New to confirm or Cancel to go back.

After cloning, the original form instance will have its status changed to Deleted and you will be taken to the WebForm Summary for the new form instance.
