In order to assign a Target Scan to a applicant, they must first have a Target allocated to them.

A target in PICS Web refers to the knowledge skills and behaviours derived from the learning aim of programme. This target is then used to measure the learners competency against it’s relative knowledge, skills & behaviours.

We can access the Target Scope via the applicant summary page

With no target currently present against our applicant we can assign a target by selecting the button titled ‘Select Target’

We’re presented with a list of aims that are linked to this applicant. Select the aim that you wish to target scan the learner against.

Once this has been saved, the target for the aim will then display individually broken down to outline all knowledge, skills & behaviours. Any previously taken target scan results will also display here, allowing all parties to review the latest, and initial answers.

With the Target assigned, you’re now able to assign individual target scans against the applicant. Please refer to Adding a new target scan for guidance on this.
