The Evidence tab in the Learner Qualification Summary shows any evidence files that supports the current qualification. Any evidence uploaded here will also be available in the master Evidence list in the Learner Delivery Plan.

For each item, the following details are shown:

  • Title
  • Added date
  • Download – Selecting this will save a copy of the evidence file.


Further evidence options can be found in the Unit Summary page, which you can access by selecting ... > Summary by a unit in the list. The unit summary works in exactly the same way as the qualification summary, except the units tab instead shows the Learning Outcomes that make up the unit. Similarly, from this tab you can access the Learning Outcome Summary, which in turn shows the Assessment Criteria that make up the outcome.

Filtering the Evidence List

The options to Search the evidence list and filter by Number of Records are available from above the list. Once you have entered the necessary details, press Enter or select the  icon to run the search and apply your filters.

Exporting the Evidence List

Selecting More shows an option to Export to Excel. Selecting this will generate an Excel Spreadsheet containing the details currently displayed in the list.

Uploading a New Evidence File

Selecting Upload in the evidence tab will open a window where you can attach a new piece of evidence to the learner record. The following details are available to add:

  • Title

  • Methods – You can search the list for methods to attach. More than one method can be specified. Selecting the X icon by an added method will remove it from the field.

  • File

Once you have uploaded the evidence, the following options are available:

  • Upload – This will save the evidence item and take you to the Edit Window, where you can add further details.

  • Upload and View Summary – This will save the evidence item and take you to the Evidence Summary.

  • Upload and Close – This will save the evidence item and return you to the evidence tab.

  • Cancel – This will discard the evidence item and return you to the evidence tab.

Linking an Existing Evidence File

As well as uploading a new evidence file, you can also link an evidence file that has already been uploaded in the Evidence tab in the learner's Delivery Plan. To do this, select Link Existing from the top-right corner of the page. This will open a window displaying all existing evidence files that have been uploaded to the delivery plan. You can Search this list by evidence title.

Use the tickboxes to specify which evidence items you want to link. Once you have made your choices, select Create Links to confirm the links or Cancel to discard them.

Evidence Actions

The following actions are available from selecting the ... icon by an item in the evidence tab:

  • Summary – This will open the corresponding Evidence Summary page.
  • Edit – This will open a window where you can Edit the Evidence.
  • Delete Link but Retain Evidence – This will delete the link from the current qualification, but if the evidence has been linked elsewhere, these links will remain. You will be prompted to confirm before the link is deleted.
  • Delete Evidence and all Links – This will delete the evidence file from all locations where it is linked. You will be prompted to confirm before the evidence is deleted.
