Selecting Create in the Template List will first open a window where you can enter the following details:

  • Name

  • Type – Here you can choose whether the template is used for Appointments, Calls or Tasks.

  • For – Here you can choose whether users can use this template when creating records for Learners, Applicants or Officers.

Once you have entered these details, select Save to progress to the next step.

The fields in the next window will depend on the template Type:

For Appointment templates, you can enter the following details:

  • Name

  • Title

  • Description

  • Class

  • Type

  • Location – Here you can choose which organisation will be used for the appointment location, according to their relationship with the For record.

  • Organiser – Here you can choose which officer will be used for the appointment organiser, according to their relationship with the For record.

  • System Code

...

For Task templates, you can enter the following details:

  • Name

  • Description

  • Type

  • System Code

...

For Call templates, you can enter the following details:

  • Name

  • Direction

  • Subject

  • Summary

...

Once you have entered the necessary details, select Save to add the new template or Cancel to discard it.
