Course Attendance Summary

The Learner Enrolments report contains the option to include the Course Attendance Summary as an Optional Output. If this option is ticked, additional columns will be added reporting on the learner’s attendance for the Course Enrolment named in the current row.

  • Course Attendance - Sessions – This shows the number of sessions that the learner is expected to attend based on their course enrolment dates.

  • Course Attendance - GLH – This shows the sum of Guided Learning Hours (GLH) recorded for all attended sessions. This will count either the manually entered GLH value for the learner or the default GLH for the session if no manual value was recorded.

  • Course Attendance - % Attended – This shows the percentage of either Present or Late attendance recorded for all sessions.

  • Course Attendance - Present – This shows the number of sessions with Present attendance recorded.

  • Course Attendance - % Present – This shows the percentage of Present attendance recorded for all sessions.

  • Course Attendance - Late – This shows the number of sessions with Late attendance recorded.

  • Course Attendance - % Late – This shows the percentage of Late attendance recorded for all sessions.

  • Course Attendance - Authorised – This shows the number of sessions with Authorised absence recorded.

  • Course Attendance - Unauthorised – This shows the number of sessions with Unauthorised absence recorded.

  • Course Attendance - % Absent – This shows the percentage of either Authorised or Unauthorised absence recorded for all sessions.

  • Course Attendance - Unknown – This shows the number of sessions where the attendance value is unknown. This happens when a Custom Attendance Value is recorded that is not matched to either Present, Late, Authorised or Unauthorised values.

  • Course Attendance - Not enrolled – This shows the number of sessions where the learner’s enrolment dates for the course do not cover the dates for that session. For example, if a learner does not enrol onto a course until two weeks after it begins, any sessions in those first two weeks will be counted here.

  • Course Attendance - Future – This shows all sessions remaining after the current day until the end of the learner’s enrolment.
