Opportunities in the PICSWeb Officer Summary
The Opportunities tab in the Officer Summary lists all business Opportunities that have the current office linked as the Owner or Officer (but not the Main Contact). For each opportunity, the following details are shown:
- Title – Selecting this will take you to the corresponding Opportunity Summary.
- Tags – Selecting the icon will expand a list of Tags attached to the opportunity. You can select the X within a tag to remove it, or select the + icon to add new tags.
- Placement – Selecting this will take you to the corresponding Organisation Summary.
- Estimated Close date
- Estimated Revenue
- Probability
- Actual Close date
- Status
Filtering the Opportunity List
The following searching and filtering options are available by default above the list. Once you have entered the necessary details, press Enter or select the icon to run the search and apply your filters.
- Whether to use the standard Table view, or display opportunities in a Board that compares numbers of opportunities in each status.
- Sort By – Here you can use the drop-down menu to choose how the list is ordered.
- Search – Here you can search by opportunity Title or ID.
Tags – Selecting the Search... box will open a drop-down menu where you can add multiple Tags to search by. The following search options are available:
- Any – This will filter the list to records that contain at least one of the specified tags.
- All – This will filter the list to records that contain every specified tag.
- None – This will filter the list to records that do not have any of the specified tags.
- Active records only
- Number of records displayed
Along with these, additional fields can be added by selecting More. Choosing a field will add it to the top bar, where it works like the filters explained above. The following fields are available:
- Status
- Estimated Close Before date
- Estimated Close After date
- Officer
- Standard Occupational Classification (SOC) code
- Sector Subject Area (SSA) code
- Occupational Area
- Qualification
- Qualification Plan
- Is New
- My Opportunities
Exporting the Opportunity List
Selecting More shows an option to Export to Excel. Selecting this will generate an Excel Spreadsheet containing the details currently displayed in the list.
Creating a New Opportunity
You cannot create a new opportunity from this tab. Instead, you will have to either Create a New Opportunity or Edit an Existing Opportunity, the enter the current officer into the Owner or Officer fields in the edit window and Save. The opportunity will then appear in this tab.
Opportunity Actions
The following actions are available from the opportunities tab:
- Summary – Selecting ... > Summary by an opportunity in the list will take you to the corresponding Opportunity Summary.
- Edit – Selecting ... > Edit by an opportunity in the list will open the Edit Opportunity window.
- Delete – Selecting ... > Delete by an opportunity in the list will delete the opportunity record. You will asked to confirm before the opportunity is deleted.
