Multiple accounts with different purposes which reference the same email address are possible to be created in PICSWeb. To assist with the management of these accounts we’ve introduced a Keychain feature to allow these accounts to be chained together. This enables the user to seamlessly switched between these linked accounts without the need to log out and log back in with different credentials.

Enabling Keychain Accounts

PICSWeb will identify when new accounts are being created with an email address that is already in use. You will notice you have the option to enable the Keychain feature at the very top of the account creation page.

Enabling this will allow the account to be created regardless of the email address being in use.

Switching Between Keychained Accounts

To switch to a different account that has been keychained, first click your name, present in the top right corner. This will display the account summary modal.

From this modal, you’ll see any additional accounts that have been keychained. Clicking the name or icon of the account will cause it to load in PICSWeb, where you’ll be logged out of the original account and logged into the account that you have clicked. You’re able to switch back by repeating this process but you’ll see that the Switch Accounts list will reflect what accounts are available to switch over to.
