The following changes were made as part of PICS 21, as released on the 10th September 2021.

Improvements

Imports and Exports – The ILR exporter will only send prior attainment records which are dated on or after the earliest aim start date of all aims in the ILR for that learner. If no records exist matching the earliest aim start date, the most recent record dated before that date will be sent with a date matching the earliest aim start date. This is to prevent R131 errors.

Desktop PICS – FIS tables in PICS have been updated to work with the changes to the 2021-22 FIS.

Desktop PICS – DAM FAM Code 061 is now available.

Desktop PICS – The dates for various DAM codes have been extended according to version 3 of the ESFA code list: 5, 6, 13-21 and 39.

Reports – Maximum Possible Achievement Rates (Apprenticeships) now include apprenticeship standard learners who are awaiting their Endpoint Assessment result as a possible achiever. The calculated achievement date for possible achievement is now calculated using the PICS Episode expected end date, as this includes the expected EPA period.
