PICSWeb can integrate with the Employer Data Service (EDS) to synchronise Employer Reference Numbers (ERNs). With this integration enabled, you will be able to search for and Download an Organisation’s Reference Number from the Organisation Summary in PICSWeb.

Selecting Integrations > EDS from the Configuration section of the side menu will take you to the EDS Summary page, where you can set up and manage your integration with the EDS.

The integration status section displays whether the integration is currently enabled.

The main section of the EDS summary explains how the integration works, with links to the EDS website and email address to request EDS credentials.

Integration Settings

Selecting Settings from the top-right corner of the page will open a window where you can activate the EDS integration by entering the following details. Once you have made any changes, select Save to confirm them or Cancel to discard them.

• Integration Enabled

• Username – The username and password can be obtained by sending a token request to the email address displayed in the Integration Information section.

• New Password – If you have changed your EDS password, you can enter the new one into this field. The new password will then be used when accessing the EDS.
