The following changes were made as part of PICS 15.30.012.01, as released on the 22nd May 2020.

New Features

  • AdHoc – Selection and Output of Tags have been added to Learners, Applicants, Officers, Organisations, CRM Activities, Vacancies, Opportunities and Courses.

  • eAdmin, eRecruit, eTutor – An option to open PICSWeb from eTutor, eRecruit, and eAdmin on hosting installs has been added.

Improvements

  • AdHoc – New format of AdHoc Express file:

    • Output of Applicant PMC/RUI

    • Output of CRM Activity Location

    • Output of UDF answers that are defined in code, description format now outputs the description – was previously the code.

  • Claims and Profiles – The FM36 Reconciler now displays the Site in applicable reports.

  • Form Capture App – Remote filled and signed fields will no longer be editable before the form is submitted.

  • Form Capture App – Remote filled fields are now read only when a forms is in the “All signed” status, before being Submitted.

  • Form Capture App – Update FileDrop URL for database and log exports.

  • Form Capture App, SOAP Service – New version of the SOAP Service to ensure old client are no longer supported.

  • Desktop PICS – LARS v7.0.0: 18th May 2020 is now available in PICS.

  • Reporting – Due to generally increasing email spam restrictions on the Internet, when using Pellcomp’s SMTP server for scheduled reports, the FROM email address must now be “noreply@pellcomp.co.uk”. A new field called Display Name can be used to identify your company or staff to the email recipients.

  • Reporting – The Learner Status report now has an optional Output “Total PMRs Due and Paid” which will display the total amount of capped Employer contributions required for FM36 co-funded learning along with the total amount currently paid. This information has also been added to the funding screen available from the ILR. 

  • Reporting – The Learner Status Report now indicates if the report was run with the “Show earned employer payments” option.

  • REST API – Added Last Modified date/time to Trainee.

Data Patches

These are changes to the PICS Database structure to support future features. When they are available they will be announced as New Features or Improvements in the relevant Release Notes.

  • Desktop PICS – Additional Database RI & Indexes for EF development.

Bug Fixes

  • Claims and Profiles – The FM36 Calculator was no longer respecting a change in UKPRN accurately. Now fixed.

  • Claims and Profiles, Reporting – The Funding Calculator and the Audit Reports “Traineeship anomalies” report were not correct identifying Work Preparation and Work Experience Aims correctly. Now fixed.

  • CRM and Applicants, Desktop PICS – Hosted users could be incorrectly prompted to change their PICS passwords after linking their PICS accounts to their hosting accounts. Now fixed.

  • Reporting – The Ofsted (2017) report now has an option to exclude withheld learners

  • Reporting – The Learner Status report’s columns were misaligned for LSF totals when showing aims separately. Now fixed.
