The following changes were made as part of PICS 15.30.012.05, as released on the 12th June 2020.

New Features

  • Desktop PICS – A new extract of the OfQual register is available – taken 10/06/2020.

Improvements

  • AdHoc – Added the ability to select Applicants by Opportunity Id, and also improved performance in Description lookups in Output.

  • eEmploy – Added a new Workspace view displaying the logged in person’s customer caseload. Recently assigned customers has been removed from the Workspace Home page and can be viewed using the filters on the new Workspace Caseload page.

  • Imports and Exports – The ILR Exporter (2019) was sending all ESF aims which started since 1st January 2016 but this was causing errors where aims were no longer valid in the LARS. It now only sends those aims which are part of the Round 2 ESF contract starting on 1st April 2019.

  • Desktop PICS – FIS Organisations v3.0.0 : 27th May and PostcodeFactors v12 are now available in PICS.

  • Desktop PICS – Performance improvements when filtering by Form Name in Form Capture Manager.

  • Desktop PICS – LARS v7.0.0 : 9th June is now available in PICS.

Bug Fixes

  • AdHoc – Output of UDF Answers from Single Item from a list was outputting blank if it was not in code,description format. Now fixed. 

  • eApply – If multiple applicants filled in the form at the same time, there was a chance that the status of the new applicants would not be correct. Now fixed.

  • eFileStore – When upgrading to a new version of eFileStore, any changes to the maximum allowed file size in the eFileStoreService.exe.config file would be lost. The default maximum file size in that file has now been increased to the maximum available (500MB). 

  • eFileStore – After installing a new version of eFileStore, file access for Sandbox datasets would show the error “not a valid Dataset GUID”. Now fixed. 

  • Imports and Exports – ILR Imports could give a range check error if there was Learner HE data to import. Now fixed. 

  • Desktop PICS – The Apprenticeship Financial summary button was not calculating the employer contributions accurately when ACT 2 had been set. Now fixed.

  • Desktop PICS – Optimised an activity query which can cause PICS to freeze whilst creating a PRaP customer record.

  • Reporting – The Course Manager Attendance report was not including learners enrolled on a course if their ILR dates were outside of the course’s dates. Now fixed.

  • Reporting – When running the E&T or Traineeship Achievement Rates reports with Maximum Possible rates turned on, the breakdown could show the wrong number of learners in the “Max Timely Achv” column. This did not affect the totals. Now fixed.
