Units in the PICSWeb Qualification Summary
The Units tab in the Qualification Summary shows the Units that make up the qualification. For each unit, the following details are shown:
Unit Code and Title – Selecting this will take you to the corresponding Unit Summary.
Mandatory – This indicates whether the unit is a mandatory part of the qualification.
Filtering the List
The options to search the list by Title and Reference Code and filter by Number of Records are available from above the list. Once you have entered the necessary details, press Enter or select the icon to run the search and apply your filters.
Exporting the List
Selecting More shows an option to Export to Excel. Selecting this will generate an Excel Spreadsheet containing the details currently displayed in the list.
Linking a Unit to a Qualification
You can only link units that are already in PICS basedata to a qualification. Creating a New Unit is done from the Unit List.
Selecting Link Existing Unit from the top-right corner of the page will open a window where you can choose a new unit to add to the qualification. You can also use the tickbox to make the unit a Mandatory part of the qualification.
You can search for the relevant unit using the search bar at the top of the Unit drop-down menu.
Once you have finished, select Save to link the new unit or Cancel to discard it.
Once you have made your changes, select Save to apply them or Cancel to discard them.
Unit Actions
The following actions are also available from the Units tab:
Edit – Selecting ... > Edit by a unit in the list will open a window where you can choose whether or not to make the unit Mandatory.
Delete – Selecting ... > Delete by a unit in the list will remove it from the qualification. The unit will still be available in PICSWeb basedata. You will be asked to confirm before you remove the record.
