This guidance is for Learner Accounts in PICSWeb.
The Contact Hours tab shows any hours that have been logged for your programme. Both On the Job and Off the Job hours are shown.
The Total Contact and Learning Hours section shows the following totals:
Total Contact time
Total Off the Job Hours
ILR Planned Off the Job Hours – This is the total number of Off the Job Hours that are planned for your programme. The bar shows the proportion off these hours that have been logged.
ILR Planned Off the Job to Date – This shows the number of Off the Job Hours that should have been recorded judging by how far into your programme you are.
Average Weekly Off the Job Hours
The list below shows each time contact hours have been logged. For each item in the list, the following details are shown:
Date
Actual hours
Contact Type
OTJ (Off the Job) – If this is ticked, the hours logged were Off the Job hours.
Officer – If the hours were logged by a member of staff, this will show which staff member logged them.
Selecting the … icon by any item in this list will show an option to open a Details window for the hours.
The Actions menu shows options to either Log Off the Job Hours or Log On the Job Hours.
Filtering the List
The following options are available to control what information is shown in the tab. Once you have made any changes, select the Search icon to refresh the list.
100 Records – This drop-down menu allows you to choose how many records are displayed in the page.
The More option shows the following additional filters:
Date Range
Officer
Contact Type
On the Job
Exporting the List
If you want to save a copy of this list, select More > Export to Excel to save a spreadsheet version of the list to your device.
