Most of the data in PICSWeb PICS is organised in a consistent table format. While the data shown and options available vary, some common features are available throughout the system:
Search Bar – Most tables will feature a search bar where you can restrict the table by various criteria. Once you have entered the necessary details, press Enter or select or select the 
Search icon to run the search and apply your filters. It is possible to Save Searches, meaning that you and other users can load up predefined sets of filtering options when you visit a certain table.

Actions Menu – In the top-right corner of the page, an Actions button will often be available. Selecting this will show the available actions for the table, such as creating a new record.
