This guidance is for Learner Accounts in PICSWeb.

The Components tab shows the different events and elements that make up your programme. Components are divided according to the three sections of your programme: Learning, Gateway and End Point Assesment.

The display at the top of the tab shows your Total Components as well as the number of Completed Components and Overdue Components.

For each component in the list, the following details are shown:

  • Component Type

  • Title

  • Scope Items – The icons underneath the component title show the Codes for each of the Target Scope Items that the component covers.

  • Status

  • Start date

  • Due date

  • Done date – If you haven’t yet finished this unit, this column will be blank.

Selecting the icon by any component in this list will show an option to go to the corresponding Component Summary.

Filtering the List

The following options are available to control what information is shown in the tab. Once you have made any changes, select the Search icon to refresh the list.

  • Component Types – Here you can choose which Types you want the list to show.

  • 100 Records – This drop-down menu allows you to choose how many components are displayed in the page.

You can also select More > Due Before to add a new filter, which allows you to specify a Due Date to restrict the list by.

Exporting the List

If you want to save a copy of this list, select More > Export to Excel to save a spreadsheet version of the list to your device.
